Pyrophyllite processing process

The equipment needed for pyrophyllite processing technology includes jaw crusher, Raymond mill, electromagnetic vibrating feeder, bucket elevator, dust removal equipment, etc. The pyrophyllite processing process is as follows:

Raymond mill

The mined pyrophyllite raw ore is first sent to the jaw crusher for crushing and processing. After the pyrophyllite is crushed to meet the feed particle size requirements of the Raymond mill, it is sent to the silo driven by the bucket elevator. . Then, the electromagnetic vibrating feeder feeds the crushed pyrophyllite continuously and evenly into the Raymond mill for grinding. 


After that, the pyrophyllite powder that is ground into powder enters the powder classifier and is divided into different particle size grades. The pyrophyllite powder that does not meet the requirements is sent back to the Raymond mill for continuous grinding. The pyrophyllite powder that meets the requirements It is sent into the collector by the pipeline device, and then packed reasonably.


Various uses of pyrophyllite:

1. Application in ceramic and paper industry

In the above industries, the fineness of pyrophyllite products must be less than 200 mesh, and the whiteness must be greater than 85%. Therefore, its processing method is mainly crushing-grinding-refining, and bleaching if necessary. The work of crushing and grinding is mainly to prepare for beneficiation and refining. The pyrophyllite and impurity minerals can be separated, and after the separation, if the purity reaches a certain level, the pyrophyllite can be directly crushed. 


The main equipment used in this process are: jaw crusher, cone crusher, impact crusher, Raymond mill, ball mill, etc. According to different product needs, different combinations can be used to meet different product requirements.

Of course, the crushing of pyrophyllite is to remove iron, and the way to remove iron is magnetic separation. When the ore containing iron is heavy metal, re-election must be carried out. When iron is sulfide and oxidant, flotation can be used, and quartz can also be separated from paraffin ore. Various deferrization processes are available to ensure the final pyrophyllite purity.


2. Application of pyrophyllite in refractories

This method has low requirements on the whiteness of pyrophyllite and the particle size of the finished product, which is usually 3 mm. Therefore, in the process of processing, manual operations are usually adopted, and then the raw materials are pulverized through coarse, medium and fine crushing processes.
